The Liesel has less flavour development than the Jessie. We started to make this cheese because of market demand for a smaller, ash covered cheese.
Liesel is a quiet goat who has a black spot on her shoulder.We thought that would be a good name for the cheese.
The Liesel won a silver medal at the 2017 Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show (Ekka).
